Polyphenol oxidase enzyme in coconut\/MCT oil reacts with light, heat, and oxygen.<br \/>\n 2. This enzyme causes oxidation of natural polyphenols (similar to an apple browning), resulting in the oil turning pink to purplish.<br \/>\n 3. It\u2019s a sign of high-quality, minimally refined oil\u2014not spoilage. Low-grade oils often don\u2019t change color.<br \/>\n 4. The color shift doesn\u2019t reduce the efficacy or safety of the CBD product  <\/p>\n<p>So don\u2019t be worried if your pet tinctures get warm and turn pink!
