The High Court in Nakuru has suspended a decision by the county governor allowing matatus to operate within the Central Business District, barely a week after Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika gave the green light. Matatu operators will have to keep out of the Nakuru CBD until the case is heard and determined.
6 petitioners went to court to stop the process on grounds that Governor Kihika did not conduct proper public participation before issuing the orders.
