Umar Mehmood, Assistant Director PR, and Talha Zafar, Assistant Director Project Management at CBD Punjab, share promising updates on the progress of CBD Route 47 and the Railway Crossing Flyover.

They highlighted the historical significance of the location, where Quaid-e-Azam’s aircraft landed post-partition, inspiring the name Route 47. The route will stretch from the main boulevard in Gulberg to the flyover connecting Walton Road, with only partial work remaining. The Railway Crossing Flyover, featuring six lanes, is nearing completion.

CBD Punjab is committed to launching this new artery in Lahore, contributing to the seamless flow of traffic.

اُنہوں نے اس مقام کی تاریخی اہمیت پر روشنی ڈالتے ہوئے کہا کہ اس جگہ پر آزادی کے بعد قائداعظم کا طیارہ لینڈکیا تھا اور اسی مناسبت سے اس کو روٹ 47 کا نام دیا گیا ہے۔ یہ روٹ مین بلیوارڈ گلبرگ کو والٹن روڈ فلائی اوور سے منسلک کرے گا اور اس کا معمولی کام باقی ہے۔

چھ لائنوں پر مشتمل ریلوے کراسنگ فلائی اوور تکمیل کے قریب ہے۔ سی بی ڈی پنجاب لاہور میں اس بے مثال فلائی اوور کو متعارف کروانے کیلئے پرعزم ہے جوکہ ٹریفک کی روانی میں بہتری لائے گا۔
