In a bid to thwart the planned nane nane march, the police were forced to barricade major roads to block perceived protestors from accessing the central business district. The law enforcers erected roadblocks on various roads including Thika and Lang’ata Road. In the midst of it all, journalists from Mediamax were roughed up by goons in Githurai.
